Pure Leisure group is a leading UK holiday company offering holiday home ownership and holidays at 14 parks throughout the U.K.
My Role:
The focus of my role was to manage the digital elements of marketing activity for 11 UK holiday parks including website content, e-newsletters, copywriting, blogs and social media.
In addition to this I managed the location styling for all new luxury lodges along with the coordination of various photo and video shoots for cross- channel communications purposes.
I also worked across PR including crisis communications support for one of the large holiday parks, direct mail and print marketing when required and supported the coordination of two annual Charity Balls.
Results:
Under the leadership of a strong and supportive Head of Marketing, I was given the tools and guidance to develop a brand-new digital strategy. This included the implementation of one brand across all sites and full in-house CMS across two responsive websites which delivered a 10% uplift in sales in profitability within its first year. In July 2012 the annual Pure Leisure Group charity ball ‘A Diamond Ball’ raised £23,516, followed by ‘Edwardian Twist’ in July 2013 which raised £25,150, both of which supported Manchester based charity Moodswings.
