thinkingplace is the UK’s leading place branding, place marketing and place making specialist.

My role:

My role as Marketing and Engagement Manager was to lead on their strategic marketing activity across website, social media, design, print and communications and engage closely with relevant place stakeholders.

During my time at thinkingplace, I worked with a wide range of clients including regions, counties, towns and cities; contributing to several transformative strategies to create both growth and opportunity.

I also undertook an in-depth marketing review and created a 12-month communications strategy to grow both thinkingplace awareness and client base.

Results:

During a 6-month period I facilitated engagement with over 30 place stakeholders for the Mid Cheshire place brand and strategy and executed both 121 and group engagement sessions across the Borough of Hounslow, Devon, Aldershot and Farnborough.

My marketing activity drove +3.7k users and +4.2k new users to the thinking place website and increased average engagement time per user by +15% via direct and organic social media, blogs and e-newsletters. Subsequently web sessions that derived from organic social media increased by +188% during this period.
